Welcome to our Summer Holiday Activities and Food Programme 2023. We are delighted to hear from you. To access this programme children must be:

​

• In receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals (these places are free on the programme)

• A resident in the London Borough of Croydon

• If not in receipt of benefits Free School Meals, we also offer paid places on the programme. This is £25.00 per child per day for lunch included. Please only pay for your child's place if you are not in receipt of free school meals

• Open to children between 4-11 years old

Our Programme start from Monday 31st July 2023 - Thursday 24th August 2023, Monday to Thursday only over 4 weeks. Each week will follow a different theme and we will deliver a 4 different themes over the summer holidays. This will include:

 

Week 1 - Monday 31st July 2023 - Thursday 3rd August 2023 - a Rainforest/Jungle theme programme

Week 2 - Monday 7th August 2023 - Thursday 10th August 2023 - Ocean/Under the Sea theme programme

Week 3 - Monday 14th August 2023 - Thursday 17th August 2023 - a Pirate/Mermaid theme programme

Week 4 - Monday 21st August 2023 - Thursday 24th August 2023 - an Around the World - Looking at different Cultures and Religions theme programme

We are delivering this Programme at 1 venue across the borough in partnership with:

    New Valley Primary School, Old Lodge Lane, Purely, CR8 4AZ

Please note: By completing the form below you are consenting for your details to be shared with The Council and The Department for Education (DfE) for Monitoring and Reporting Purposes.

This programme will run from Monday 31st July - Thursday 24th August 2023  from 10am to 2pm. Monday to Thursday delivery only. Lunch will be from 12:30pm-1:00pm. There will be a Meat and Vegetarian meal served in line with The School Food Standards for children. We are still finalising the menu and this should be available shortly, however please state which meal your child will prefer. For lunch purposes, we need to know any dietary requirements your child(ren) have (i.e. vegetarian lunch/any allergies/nuts allergy/meat allergy/dairy etc).

Please rest assure, in light of the current situation with reference to the Pandemic, appropriate health and safety protocols are in place before commencement of the programme. A Covid Supervisor will be present on site to manage the health safety and of our staff and children and we will also adopt the school’s policy regarding this situation.

​

In the event of your child not unable to attend the programme please notify us immediately by emailing us at skipzhafcroydon@gmail.com so we can allocate their place to another child. This is very important as registration means you are offered a place on the programme and your child's lunch will be organised upon registration. 

​

We also have something for the Parents. We are delivering a fantastic online Nutritional Workshop for Parents with a qualified Nutritionist on every Wednesday during the Programme.

The dates for the Workshop are:

• Wednesday 2nd August 2023 from 11am-1pm

• Wednesday 9th August 2023 from 11am-1pm

• Wednesday 16th August 2023 from 11am-1pm

• Wednesday 23rd August 2023 from 11am-1pm

Different topics will be covered each week.​​​​​​​ All Workshops will take place online via Zoom from 11am-1pm.  You will have the opportunity to learn about healthy eating, cooking recipes on a budget, how nutrition prevents disease and illnesses amongst children and so much more! In order to register for this please state YES at the bottom of the registration form for the programme.

Once the form/ payment (if applicable) has been received we will send you an email with the Programme details. Please register ASAP. Payment for the programme must be made before your child is due to attend.

In order to safeguard our service users and staff, a Covid Health Declaration Form and Registration Pack will be sent to the nominated email address which will need to be completed and sent back to us.
